Generally I paint impressionistic or realistic depending on the moment.

When I saw that Steve and Lena were looking for “Pure Imagination" - I decided to go back to some basics - like when I was teaching myself to paint.

The day after Christmas I painted this on a frame that my oldest daughter and her husband gave me as a gift.  I painted the painting-  showed my wife Winnie and carried on with the day.

I meditated that evening - really thinking about that painting.

I showed no one the painting other than Winnie.

The next morning I got this text from one of my friends Greg Matnock outside of Columbus: 

Greetings Space Traveler!

Lots of background  purple with a yellow swirl? 

That changes slightly into browns and greens. 

Some white flickering that I haven't absorbed before.

You were there I think?
